Currently chaired by The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan with his ULEZs, the C40 has progessive and ambitious targets for 2030 in 40 cities around the world.
According to the C40 website Arup is a major funder of C40. Arup has published these progessive and ambitious targets: for meat, the progressive target is 16Kg per person per year, the ambitious target is 0 Kg; for clothing the progressive target is 8 new items of clothing per year, the ambitious target is just 3 items; and for cars, the progressive target is 190 vehicles per 1000, and the ambitious target is 0 vehicles.
So if you're wondering why there is a war on motorists?
The Arup report is entitled, THE FUTURE OF URBAN CONSUMPTION IN A 1.5°C WORLD
But although every major city/capital in Europe, London included, is involved, and several in China, there is not one single city in Russia involved. And none from Austria too.
