This act, attributed to Andrew Jackson, led to the forced expulsion, or ethnic cleansing, of several tribes of native Americans to the west, including the infamy of The Trail of Tears.
Once the native Americans had been forcibly expelled (or ethnically cleansed) the United States sold the lands of the ethnically cleansed native Americans to planters who built plantations which required slaves for labour.
This is the foundation of the treasonous Confederate States of America: a rural economy based on slavery.
And it leads all the way back to Andrew Jackson.
Jackson also lobbied for the entry of Texas into the United States.
Thus Andrew Jackson is the Godfather of the Confederacy.
