BBC REPORT

I have just heard a report on the BBC Radio 5 Live.

The report is paraphrased thus: Two Israelis have been killed by Hizb Allah rockets falling on Haifa. This follows Israeli air strikes on Beirut and Sidon.

Q1: why was the attack on Israel the headline and mentioned first, and not the Israeli attack on Lebanon which happened first chronologically?
Q2: why were the deaths of two Israelis reported, while there was no mention whatsoever of the result of the Israeli air strikes?

And to add to the report the BBC went live to Haifa where the reporter commented on the feeling of playing Russian Roulette by living in Haifa. Why not live to Lebanon amongst the rubble and rotting corpses being eaten by dogs and the half a million terrified refugees?

Who is in control of this subtle bias in reporting?
