Over 80 civilians in a town northwest of the Syrian capital of Damascus have been executed by Islamist rebels, sources within the Syrian military told RT. Many others were kidnapped to be used as human shields.
Government forces are continuing a large-scale operation against Jabhat al-Nusra and Liwa Al-Islam fighters, who captured the town earlier this week. The area is located some 20 kilometers away from Damascus.
According to SANA news agency, around 1,000 militants were in the town when it was enveloped by the army on Friday.
The military sources said the “armed groups have performed an execution of civilians” in Adra, RT Arabic correspondent Abutaleb Albohaya reported from Syria.
“For now it’s established that over 80 people were killed in the areas now taken over by the army. Often whole families were murdered,” he said.

Instead, the NATO media propagates a mad story from the totally unreliable and discredited one man band The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that the Syrian military dropped barrel bombs out of helicopters hovering above Aleppo. Now why would the Syrian military hover over Aleppo and drop barrel bombs, giving the rebels the perfect opportunity to film this occuring and post the images all over the internet for the whole world to see? As yet, I can find no such film of the Syrian military dropping barrel bombs out of helicopters on the internet or in any NATO media. All we have on this story are the words of a totally discredited news agency, the SOHR, which gets all its information from the rebels. And yes, these are the same rebels who committed the atrocities at al Houla and Khan al Assal and blamed the Syrian military and/or the Shabiha.
There is no civil war in Syria. But there is a proxy war against Syria by Israel and Saudi Arabia who are using cutthroat Jihadis to at least weaken Syria, but ultimately destroy Syria. This decision was taken in 2007 after the plan for war on seven nations in five years, which was revealed to General Wesley Clark shortly after he mother of all inside Ziojobs 9/11, was moribund. That list consisted of: Iraq; Iran; Lebanon; Syria; Libya; Sudan; Somalia. By 2007 only two of the seven nations on that list, Iraq and Lebanon, had been attacked, and Israel somehow managed to lose the war against Hezbollah. The former French foreign minister Roland Dumas was asked by Great Britain to help them insert the cutthroat Jihadis into Syria, the kind of rebels we hear about committing atrocity after atrocity, cutting throat after throat, and eating the hearts of their prisoners.
