BBC 5 Live's Nicky Campbell failed bigly this morning on Your Call.
The first guest to phone in was a guy who was looking forward to human interaction when lockdown measures are lifted. But the epic fail by Campbell was when this same guy described how his father died. The father was suffering from vascular dementia. He became very ill last december and was rushed to hospital.
And here's the thing. Over just a few days the father was tested TWICE for rona in hospital, and both times was negative, he then died.
BUT THE CAUSE OF DEATH WAS GIVEN AS RONA!!
So he goes into hospital with long term vascular dementia, tests negative TWICE for rona, then dies, but the cause of death was given as rona.
And Campbell. Said. Nothing.
