If you arrive into the UK then you must spend 10 days in quarantine at a self-designated place. You must also pay at least £210 for a 'package' which consists of 2 rona tests: the first to be taken on day 2; the 2nd to be taken on day 8. You may only be released from this quarantine if you are not positive from the 2 tests.
But, you may be released after 5 days if you pay for an extra 3rd test on day 5 which returns negative.
Does this make sense?
You are forced to pay for 2 tests as mandatory.
You can pay for a 3rd test on day 5, and if negative then be released from quarantine immediately, but still have to pay for the mandatory test on day 8 even though you don't need to take it? And if negative on day 8 of the package you still have to quarantine for a further 2 days, even though if you take an alternative test on day 5 and return negative you will be released immediately from quarantine without having to wait a further 2 days?
And this is when entering the UK not from a country on the 'red list' which requires you to pay at least £800 for an uncomfortable 10 day quarantine in a hotel.
What psycho dreams this shit up? Even now after admitting that the tests are unreliable?
It's just a shakedown.
