Robert Kennedy was assassinated in a hotel owned by Junius Myer Schine, whose son G David Schine was very close friends with Roy Cohn who was Trump's mentor. That assassination was blamed on a Palestinian who could not have killed RFK. RFK was about to re-open the investigation into the assassination of his bro JFK. JFK was killed because he was, in the eyes of the extreme right, getting too friendly with Russia, and blocking Israel having a nuclear program.
