What happened?
Great Britain had the mandate for Palestine, which as the map below shows, is Israel today but not showing the refugee camps of The Gaza Strip and The West Bank.

So how did those 2 refugee camps come into existence?
Because in 1947/8 The British Army allowed Jewish terrorists to terrorise and herd Palestinians into those camps.
