I was over on Rachel of North London's blog the other day trying to get her and her readers to understand the basic history of the United Nations; that the two attempts at world government, the League of Nations and the United Nations, were tried after the trauma of a world war. These wars did not just happen, but were engineered by the Anglo-American Establishment for this purpose (as well as to destroy their main opponents, Germany and Russia, and to make a nice little profit too).
I think the Anglo-American Establishment are well behind in their plan for global governance, possiby expecting us to have ceded most, if not all, of our sovereignty to the UN by now. This is why I think we now have the neocon "fucking crazies" in power in the USA. Their plan is for total, relentless war. As stated, the LN and UN were only accepted after the trauma of world wars, lasting 4 and 6 six years.
So how will we feel in 10 years time, 20 years time, after the USA and its partner-in-crime the UK have been invading here, there and everywhere on false pretences?
You may well have noted of late a similar relentlessness on the threat global warming poses to humanity.
Other proposed global threats are global pandemics, such as H5N1, and AIDS.
Global threats require global solutions i.e. international cooperation.
So the UN has stepped in to offer to save us from these "threats".

Readers of leaks from Bilderberg are aware that a global taxation to finance the expansion of the UN has been suggested at Bilderberg meetings.
The neocons are not the only part of the problem. They only play a small part in threatening endless global warfare, while we are also threatened with other global threats such as global warming, pandemics, international terrorism etc.
Anything global can be, and is being, used to break down national borders, allowing the expansion of the UN.
