SURPRISE! BRITISH GOVERNMENT WILL NOT HOLD PUBLIC INQUIRY INTO DEATH OF ALEXANDER LITVINENKO

I knew they wouldn't.

And this cowardly decision was announced on a baking hot Friday afternoon when all we want to do is be at home relaxing in the beautiful sunshine with the children and/or a cold lager, or down the pub in the beer garden.

A public inquiry into the death of Alexander Litvinenko could:
1. prove once and for all if Russia was behind the assassination or not, and if so
2. use the finding as leverage against Russia to support a No Fly Zone over Syria.

But the British Government, for whatever reason (and we know what that reason is), has decided not to destroy Russia's international credibility. It has instead decided to destroy its own.

Poor Marina is being led a merry dance.

There will not be a public inquiry into the death of poisoned Russian spy Alexander Litvinenko, the government ruled today.

His widow Marina vowed to continue to her quest for truth, insisting 'more and more people' want to know what really happened.
