A VERY BRIEF HISTORY OF THE INTERNET

The Pentagon started the internet.

Then, for some strange reason, we were offered free communication services over the internet, like email.

Business also began to take advantage of this free communication.

But then the Echelon spying system was exposed. We had been spied on all along.

But that didn't stop us.

Now nearly every communication in Europe and USA is or can be done digitally.

Digital communications are so much easier to intercept, delay, 'disappear', amend, than conventional written communications delivered by post.

This is not a coincidence.
