IMHO Foley was very likely beheaded but not on video. The filming was paused for a while for that, and then his head on his corpse filmed later to form the end of the video. If this is the case then perhaps this John the British Butcher character is not the executioner.
I apologise for any distress, but let's get real. On 9/11 nearly 3000 people were murdered. It was a massive false flag attack, just like Pearl Harbor, designed to provoke calls for global scale war. After 9/11 a series of wars was planned in North Africa and Middle East, but that plan is now way behind schedule, Our allies Saudi Arabia have unleashed cutthroat Jihadis first onto Libya, then Syria, then Iraq, so that we now have this Islamic State entity threatening to slit our throats as we sleep in our beds at night, so that we now need MI5 to intrude into every aspect of our lives to check that either we are not a member of IS or to 'protect' us. We provided military and political support at various times to these terrorists, even allegedly planning the smuggling of the cutthroats into Syria in 2009!
But as that plan for a series of wars falls further and further behind schedule, so does the desperation of the perps. What that relationship is I am not sure: linear; quadratic: cubic: exponential; other nonlinear. I don't know.
But the perps want war.
And will do absolutely anything to get it.
