TTS FILM SOUNDTRACK OF THE DAY

This prestigious award goes to...Gettysburg.

This film shows the heroism of Colonel Chamberlain, the madness General Robert E Lee for his plan for day 3, the cowardice of General Longstreet for not refusing to implement mad Lee's plan despite having grave doubts about the plan, and the folly and vanity of General Pickett for actually thinking he could do what was asked of him.

The soundtrack recognises the emotion and heroism on both sides, but in my opinion shows the Confederate march on day 3 as heroic when it was bloody murder and suicide.

And for those who are unaware of just how plain daft Lee's plan was for day 3: he expected 15000 men to march for 1 mile, uphill, over open ground, with Union artillery firing from 3 sides!!

FUCKING BONKERS!!!!!!!

Lee should have been shot for this plan.

Anyway, the film is much better than that Les Bloody Silly Miserables, which when analysed tries to persuade you that revolution is folly, that you never win, that your mates get killed, and that it is better to get a shag and/or get married.
