But if you read the official announcement from Fiat-Chrysler you find this paragraph clearly stating that the decision was taken in January 2016:
Today's announcement is the second phase of an industrialization plan announced in January 2016. The plan called for the realignment of the Company's U.S. manufacturing operations to fully utilize available capacity to respond to a shift in market demand for trucks and SUVs, and to further expand the Jeep and Ram brands.

A similar thing occured last week with Ford when they announced that they would not be opening a factory in Mexico. Trump took credit, but Ford denied they took that decision because of Trump. And Ford are still transferring production of the Focus from USA to Mexico.
But that doesn't stop Infowhores crediting Trump:
