To back up his World Crisis Radio report of 19th November on his trip to Syria, Webster Tarpley was interviewed by Russia Today and reports the same things as he highlighted in his radio report.
There is no armed insurrection against Assad.
There is no civil war.
There are hooded terrorists sniping and terrorising the civilian population.
These sniping terrorists are being brought in by NATO intelligence circles.
The civilian population want the Syrian Army to take out these sniping terrorists (well, wouldn't you?).
This sounds similar but different to the tactic used in Libya. In Libya it was probably easier to instigate a civil war due to the tribes and factions, ie al Qaeda, there. But Tarpley says Syria is a much more coherent society. This will make it much harder to start a civil war there.
