BANK SEPARATION DISCUSSED ON QUESTION TIME

The first question on Question Time last night was on the LIBOR scandal. The question itself was, Is there any integrity left in the British banking system?

As if there was any to begin with?!

But the discussion was cleverly diverted towards a Glass Steagall-esque solution by one of the guests Terry Smith, who said the case for it was now unanswerable, and there was some support for it from the panel.

Tony Robinson suppported it. So did Terry Smith, and even Bilderberg Paddy Ashdown appeared to support it.

The show can be viewed at the link below. The general discussion on banking is the first question, but the Glass Steagall solution of separation of investment and retail banking is raised at about 13:00
