And in that letter she states that she explicitly told the RCMP that her son wanted to go to Saudi Arabia to study Islam. Not to Syria, or Libya as I had read. But Saudi Arabia. Yet nowhere in any reports that I have read has this desire to go to Saudi Arabia been raised.
Why is that? Because any link from Zehaf Bibeau to Saudi Arabia would provoke investigation into Saudi terrorism, and possible war on Saudi Arabia.
Here is what Susan Zehaf Bibeau has written regarding Saudi Arabia.
What did he talk about at our final lunch, he talked about religion, how it was good. How I was wrong to pursue the materiality of this world. He had come to Ottawa to try and get his passport. He ultimately wanted to go to Saudi Arabia and study Islam, study the Coran. He thought he would be happier in an islamic country where they would share his beliefs. He mentioned that he had applied more than one month ago and thought the difficulty in getting it was the name of the reference he had given. So he had come to Ottawa to try and convince them to give him one. He said that the «shaytan» was testing him. This was not new, he often spoke of the devil and his attempts to entice people to him. I want to correct the statement of the RCMP I never said he wanted to go to Syria, I specifically said Saudi Arabia. They taped my conversation so there can little doubt about the accuracy of what I said. I did phone the agent to point the error, I don’t know it they corrected it.
But here is a report from CTV News that states that Susan told investigators that Michael wanted to go to Syria.
When Zehaf-Bibeau initially applied for a passport, it seemed that he had wanted to travel to Libya, Paulson said. But his mother told investigators Wednesday that her son wanted to go to Syria.

So why are the Canadian media hiding this desire of Zehaf Bibeau to travel to headchopping terrorist-funding Saudi Arabia?
And what else are they hiding?
What is becoming clear is that:
1. Michael Zehaf Bibeau was addicted to drugs, knew this, tried to seek help but was denied, and even threatened committing serious crime to get thrown in to prison to receive treatment;
2. he believed that going to abroad to study Islam would help him get off drugs, but for this he needed a passport;
3. the passport was being denied possibly because of a reference - but has the reason been provided to the media yet?;
4. he was often seen with 2 men discussing Islam, but they have now disappeared;
5. despite being banned for life from owning a gun he was able to obtain one, implying he obtained it illegally through criminals, or was given it.
And he was not going to Syria, and he was not on a terrorist watch list, as was first stated.
