As Governor of New York, Eliot Spitzer began to investigate Wall Street and its corrupt practices. Shortly after his investigation began he was exposed for using high class whores. Spitzer resigned, his investigation of Wall Street stopped, the ensuing financial crisis of 2007/8 almost destroyed the global economy, and we still feel the effects of that crisis today.
One man who helped to expose Spitzer is Roger Stone.
Stone was/is a close friend and aide of Donald Trump.
Trump has somehow managed to make the 2016 Presidential election all about immigrants. Reform of Wall Street has been barely mentioned.
And Stone is cheering Trump on all the way.
So the man who helped to bring us global austerity is cheering on a man who wants to deport millions of immigrants, and who has also suggested that Wall Street be liberalised even further.
Am I the only one who can see this?
