Still wondering why Sheldon Adelson backed Trump with $100 million?
US President Donald Trump received a “Friends of Zion Award” on Tuesday, in a White House ceremony attended by Vice President Mike Pence and Jared Kushner, reported the Jerusalem Post.
Trump was presented with the award by founder of Jerusalem-based Friends of Zion Museum, Mike Evans, who hailed the president’s support for Israel as unprecedented.
“No president in history has ever built such an alliance for the State of Israel and the Jewish people, and no president has courageously stood up for the State of Israel on the global stage as you had Mr. President,” Evans said.
