They are the forgotten ones. The lonely. The neglected. And the ignored.
Am I talking about the homeless?
Nope.
I'm talking about the banks.
You see, in case you haven't noticed, nobody is talking about the banks anymore. Ten years ago it was nothing but the banks and how they must be dragged under control. But now? Now we're talking about Trump's tax cuts for the rich, and his Zonism in moving the US Embassy to Jerusalem. And not just that, Trump has now focused anger that was directed at the banks onto immigrants. And to make it even worse, Trump wants to unleash Wall Street again...and without any Glass-Steagall!!
And the poor military-industrial complex is suffering too. Trump agreed a $350 billion weapons and defence deal with the Saudis, $50 billion of which is going to Boeing. And he got the Pentagon a paltry $700 billion. This is nowhere near enough for the military-industrial complex to live on. They need at least double that.
So this Christmas please spare a thought for the banks and the military-industrial complex.
THEY'VE NEVER HAD IT SO GOOD!!
