Brahimi told a news conference his proposed agenda for another round of talks that would focus first on ending the violence and terrorism, and then on how to create a transitional governing body, had been blocked by President Bashar al-Assad's representatives.
Brahimi, an Algerian who has been the UN and Arab League's special envoy to Syria since summer 2012, said: "Unfortunately, the government has refused. I think it is better that every side goes back and reflects on their responsibility [and if] they want this process to continue or not.
"It's not good for the process, it's not good for Syria that we come back for another round and fall back into the same traps that we have been struggling with."
Brahimi said the Syrian government's stance "raises the suspicion of the opposition that the government doesn't want to discuss [a transitional government] at all". He apologised to the Syrian people, admitting that the talks "had not come out with very much".

He was joined in this embarrassing erroneous accusation by William Jihadi Hague.
William Hague, the Foreign Secretary, has expressed his concerns over the lack of progress. "The failure to agree an agenda for future rounds of talks... is a serious setback in the search for peace in Syria, and the responsibility for it lies squarely with the Assad regime," he said. "This cannot be the end of the road.... We owe it to the people of Syria to do all we can to make progress towards a political solution."

The talks were useful in that a temporary ceasefire at Homs was negotiated to allow some kind of aid in and evacuation of civilians, but the rebels attacked the aid convoy.
So why have Brahimi and Hague accused the Syrian government? Because the Syrian government has refused to discuss the formation of a transition government. In other words they and their backers and allies want to be able to dictate to the Syrian people who should run their country. This has been the purpose of all the Ziowars since the inside Ziojob 9/11. Yet last summer NATO had data that suggested that 70% of the Syrian people supported Assad, 20% were neutral and just 10% expressed any kind of support for the cutthroat cannibal rebels as they butcher their way through Syria, being chased from den to den by the Syrian Arab Army. And the facts back this up. You would think that if there was a truly widespread revulsion and opposition to Assad by the people of Syria that after 3 years he would have been ousted by them without any interference from any foreign country or foreign civilian. Yes, there was a basis of opposition within the Syrian people, as there usually is in any country, but that basis was relatively small. However, they received huge financial support from the likes of Saudi Arabia and Qatar, and weapons from Israel and Saudi Arabia and Qatar, and logistics support from Turkey, training from the USA in Jordan, and the Jihadis were smuggled in by this Disunited Fascist Queendom, as suggested by former French foreign minister Roland Dumas.
So you can see that what began as a small opposition movement has grown into a horrific international invasion of Syria by cutthroat Jihadis whose backers want Assad ousted.
This is a flagrant breach of international law, and Brahimi is turning a blind eye to it by accusing the Syrian government for the failure of the talks because they will not discuss Assad stepping down!
IF ASSAD GOES THEN THE WARMONGERS WIN!!
IF ASSAD GOES THEN THOSE WHO PLANNED AND EXECUTED 9/11 WIN!!
IF ASSAD GOES THEN THOSE WHO KILLED A MILLION IRAQIS WIN!!
IF ASSAD GOES THEN THE COWARD PRINCE BANDAR BIN SULTAN WINS!!
IF ASSAD GOES THEN WHO IS NEXT?
There is no way that the Syrian government should be blackmailed into discussing a transition government.
STOP THE INVASION OF CUTTHROAT JIHADIS!!
ARREST PRINCE BANDAR BIN SULTAN AND HIS ALLIES IN MI6!!
THERE IS NOTHING ELSE TO DISCUSS!!
And just as Brahimi and Hague blame the government for the failure of the talks, the diabolical medieval Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is giving the rebels anti-aircraft missiles. Now what will they be used for? Previous supplies of weapons to the rebels were supposed to have been used to oust Assad. That hasn't worked, has it. But there are endless reports that the weapons have been used to instead promote inter factional fighting as each faction carves out its own little fiefdom, robbing civilians of their possessions and houses to fund their bullying and banditry. So why not give them anti aircraft missiles? To down a few civilian planes? Why the hell not?
WHAT A SHOWER OF BRAINLESS SHITS!!
Both Brahimi and Jihadi Hague have to go, and go now.
