FRUSTRATING FERGUSON

My initial reaction to Niall Ferguson's The Pity of War is, what a pity.

Ferguson is one of the more radical British historians, as shown by his point of view that Great Britain joining World War 1 was one of the most tragic decisions in history.

But perhaps we can see why Ferguson is such a media star, and why the Rothschilds selected him to write a 2 volume biography of their family, in this statement he made during the final third of the programme:
"No one set out to destroy the Austro-Hungarian Empire."
Er, yes they did!!

It's there in Kaiser Wilhelm's memoirs!!

Freemasonry set out to destroy the Austro-Hungarian Empire.

Freemasonry had condemned Arch Duke Ferdinand to death at least a year before his assassination.

His assassins were Freemasons, and had received encouragement and the material for the assassination from foreign Freemasons.

But the fact that Ferguson is prepared to make such a statement, that Great Britain joining the war was one of the most tragic decisions ever taken, is good. The impression I got was that the panel of experts were all pro-war.

But overall this was a massive disappointment.
