The Prime Minister of Turkey, Ahmet Davutoğlu, has written in The Washington Post blaming President Bashar al-Assad for all Syria's problems!

Viewed as a snapshot, the situation in Syria and Iraq may lead one to hopelessness and despair. But as a professor of history, diplomat and politician, I know that history flows in consequential frames that make sense only once they can be seen as a whole.

In trying to address the many seemingly insurmountable challenges to Turkey’s south, we must bear this truth in mind.

To the south of its borders, Turkey is faced with multiple grave threats to its national security. In Syria, hundreds of thousands are dead and many millions displaced — including almost 2 million in Turkey — while the illegitimate regime in Damascus and the terrorist organization Daesh (also known as ISIL, among other names) compete as to who can display more outright barbarism. While one indiscriminately bombs its own civilian population, employing chemical weapons in blatant disregard for international law, the other pillages, rapes and subjugates an innocent people with nowhere left to turn.

...But we should not lose sight of who created the circumstances that led to the rise of Daesh, and who colludes with it when it suits their purpose. Syria cannot be salvaged until the regime in Damascus abdicates power. It is the Assad regime that is responsible for the carnage and chaos that led to the emergence of Daesh, and this fertile ground for radicalization cannot be eradicated until Bashar al-Assad and his circle of cronies leave.

Assad is guilty only in that he has resisted the naked and not so naked aggression against Syria by the likes of Israel and the USA that was planned by 1991 at the latest!

In 1991 Paul Wolfowitz told General Wesley Clark that the USA "had 5 to 10 years to take out those old Soviet client regimes: Iraq, Syria, Iran". This plan then morphed into A Clean Break, written in 1996 by rabid Zionists for Netanyahu, and was then developed further by the Zionist Project for a New American Century.

And who was in charge of American defense on 9/11? PNAC.

And who used the attacks of 9/11 to implement that plan for war and regime change? PNAC.

And who created PNAC? William Kristol and Robert Kagan.

And who is Kagan's wife? Victoria Nuland, who handpicked the NATO/NED-sponsored Yatsenyuk to become the next leader of Ukraine, who then formed a junta and packed it with violent neo-Nazis who had provoked the violence in Kiev that overthrew Yanukovich, then those neo-Nazis unleashed a terrible war on the anti-Nazi civilians in East Ukraine, leading to the deaths of 7000 civilians in East Ukraine and ultimately MH17.

The facts are that Turkey:
1. has been allowing the Jihadis to recruit in Turkey;
2. has been allowing the Jihadis to enter Syria through their porous border, sometimes even providing covering fire for them as they enter Syria and try to avoid the shells from the Syrian military;
3. has been allowing the Jihadis flwwing from the Syrian military to return into Turkey for protection;
4. allowing aid convoys for Islamic State safe passage through Turkey (untracked by Belling Cat).

In other words, Turkey created this problem of Daesh itself, as an obvious ploy to openly interfere in Syria.
