No, it wasn't all a bad dream.
Members of The Marsten House really did vote overwhelmingly for war on a ragtag bunch of cutthroat bandits hiding among civilians. We really are going to see mission creep, from initially just flying just 6 bombers, to firing Tomahawk missiles from Royal navy submarines, to boots of combat troops on the ground, to No Fly Zones over Syria, to ousting Assad, with probably yet another false flag attack of some kind, a chemical or bioweapon attack, or massacre, to be blamed on Assad.
And it really will cost several orders of magnitude than any ransom that could have been paid so that David Haines didn't have his head sawn off in order to provide a casus belli.
But one consolation is that in the next General Election quite a few useless weak-minded MPs are going to lose their seats to be replaced by better MPs.
