MI6 TALKING TO ASSAD ABOUT ISLAMIC STATE

Last week it was reported that an agreement had been reached between the USA and Syria about coordination between the two to degrade and destroy Islamic State in Syria. The USA started to bomb IS positions in Syria early this week. There was some protestation from Syria, but it could have been stronger. And in fact the USA has been attacking IS in Syria every day of this last week, and again with some but muted protest from Syria.

Now The Daily Mirror is reporting that MI6 have been in talks with the Syrian government about attacking IS in Syria.

This suggests to me that some kind of agreement has been reached between Syria and the coalition, and that so far that agreement is being adhered to.
