The highly suspicious video of a BUK with missing missiles just got more suspicious.
The Ukraine Interior Minister Arsen Avakov (from the Fatherland party of rabidly anti-Russian Yulia Tymoshenko) stated on 18th July that the video was shot in Krasnadon. But since then the location appears to be in South Western suburb of Lugansk.
The allegation is that a BUK seen and photographed in Sizhne on 17th July was the one that brought down MH17.
So what route did that BUK take to get from Sizhne to Lugansk? Or to be more precise, what route did that BUK take to get from Sizhne to that particular South Western suburb of Lugansk at dawn of 18th July?
The most obvious route to get to Lugansk from Sizhne appears to be north along the H21 and then either just outside South Lugansk turn left onto the E40 or continue on the H21.
But both of these routes were under the control of the Kiev Nazis, according to LiveUAMap. Below are maps of the routes between Sizhne and Lugansk. Sizhne is in the bottom left corner and Lugansk is in the top right corner. The grey areas are under the control of the Kiev Nazis. In mid July these maps suggest that the Kiev Nazis were between Sizhne and Lugansk, and that to get to Lugansk without risking encountering a unit of Kiev Nazis the BUK would have to take a very circuitous route.
So the questions are:
1. what route did the BUK take to get from Sizhne to Lugansk?
2. why did apparently take a detour through a suburb of Lugansk and thus risk being seen?
3. how could Avakov say the video was shot in Krasnadon?
