The speed with which both Callous Cameron and the BBC have jumped on the Wanless Report published today suggests to me that there was a conspiracy, or cover up, to destroy Home Office files alleging organised paedphilia.
Wanless stated that he could find no evidence of a systematic destruction. But would the conspirators leave a paper trail of orders? No.
But Cameron and the BBC have jumped to state that there was no cover up.
These are two different claims. Cameron should know this. Others have recognised the subtle difference, but it seems to be beyond Cameron, who is probably distracted by his thinking on who else he can allow to have their head sawn off to get us into Syria.
