These allegations of a cosy relationship between the big corporations and HMRC are just another symptom of this Disunited Fascist Kingdom.
If you're a big bank or corporation being bailed out by the muggins taxpayer, even though you have the God-like power to create money out of thin air, then you can avoid tax, evade tax or just not pay tax after paying for a tasty slap-up all-you-can-stuff-your-corrupt-face-with dinner with the head of HMRC.
But if you're a muggins taxpayer, honestly paying your taxes, obeying the laws, fighting in unnecessary engineered wars either directly personally or indirectly via a family member, and believing in and perhaps even loving your limeade-taking government, then you go to jail, go directly to jail, do not pass go, CLINK!.
