The highly controversial and photogenic death of Alexander Litvinenko was raised on RT just before Christmas. The Spotlight programme interviewed Andrey Lugovoy shortly after his reelection to the Duma.
Lugovoy was accused as the murderer. He has denied the allegations.
Lugovoy claims that British Intelligence had tried to recruit him, to dig up some dirt on Putin, but he refused. Lugovoy also claimed that Litvinenko was a British agent. This was denied at the time of Litvinenko's death but has since been confirmed.
Litvinenko was allegedly poisoned with Polonium-210. Lugovoy had been in the KGB but was not a skilled assassin trained in the use of deadly radioactive materials. After meeting with Litvinenko he was photographed with his family, so if he had indeed delivered a deadly dose of radioactive poison to Litvinenko he was also risking the lives of his children.
The post mortem records have still not been released, not even to the coroners inquest. At about 20 minutes into the interview Lugovoy explains what occured at the inquest regarding the post mortem records. Scotland Yard said they needed two more weeks to submit the records to the inquest. Two months later and the records have still not been submitted. The post mortem occured five years ago. So why the delay? This is beginning to look a lot like the death of Diana, the People's Princess. It took 10 years before an inquest took place into her death, and even then the prime suspects were not questioned.
Someone is hiding something.
