SOME ADVICE FOR 2015

Rearrange your money. Consider putting it in accounts that can be accessed immediately or within days notice. Also consider breaking it up a little, i.e. if in one account with a large balance then break it up into a few accounts each with a fraction of that large balance.

This free advice is being given because there is going to be another crash soon, on a similar if not bigger scale than 7 years ago. We bailed the banks out then in return for promises of change. But guess what? THE BANKS HAVE NOT CHANGED!!

Meanwhile one special banking law has been introduced: the bail-in.

It makes you not a customer but a creditor of your bank, and thus liable to pay for the losses of your bank.

This was done because nations are now broke after the 2007/8 and cannot bail out losing banks on the same scale as then. So the next source of bail-out is you. Toward the end of last year several tests were run to test out this law to see if the banks could be saved with your money in your accounts.

You do not have to follow this advice. Another crash may not occur. But you know how the system works. How much will it cost you to re-arrange your money just a little, to make it that bit easier to access and in smaller chunks, so that in the event of a crash similar to 2007/8 the banks can't grab your money and you end up paying for their losses...AGAIN?
