How would Netanyahu react?
With fear? Dread?
Or a dance of/on ecstasy?
The latter obviously.
Last year he murdered 520 children in Gaza, allegedly because three Israeli boys had been kidnapped and murdered by members of Hamas, but we know it was really because of the natural resources owned by the PA in the Mediterranean Sea (that's why Nafeez Ahmed was stopped from writing in The Guardian when he exposed the true reason for the war).
So is it any wonder that in the last week reports have been surfacing that Islamic State is about to take control of Gaza.
If so, then ask yourself, why would Israel intercept a flotilla of aid bound for Gaza to enforce an illegal economic blockade of Gaza, yet somehow Islamic State could rise to power in Gaza?
Would the rise of Islamic State in Gaza be a natural consequence of the blockade?
Whatever. Netanyahu will be dancing with joy, for he would then be able to raze Gaza without fear of international outrage, for who would protest the destruction of Islamic State anytime, any place, anywhere?
We do have to be very careful though about sources of claims of Islamic State in Gaza. Take this for example from World Net Daily. WND is blatantly pro-Israel.
TEL AVIV – Marking a significant development in Mideast affairs, Salafists in the Gaza Strip plan to officially pledge allegiance to ISIS and openly fight under its banner, a senior Salafist militant in Gaza told WND in a phone interview.
The news immediately followed the release of a video from ISIS insurgents in Syria threatening to turn the Gaza Strip into another one of their Middle East territories and accusing Gaza’s Hamas rulers of selling out Islamic values.
Abu Mousub, an aide to Abu Al-Ayna al-Ansari, a leader of a Salafi group in the Gaza Strip, told WND by phone from Gaza that Al-Ansari’s group will officially announce it is representing ISIS in Gaza.
