Huntsman ran the Jasmine Revolution in China while he was Obama's Ambassador to China.

Huntsman is also CFR and Chairman of The Atlantic Council, i.e. pure swamp-dweller.

So it is entirely natural that Trump would consider him for Ambassador to Russia.
