I WAS JOKING WHEN I SAID "LET'S SEE IF WE CAN MAKE IT THROUGH THE WEEKEND"

Yesterday in WELCOME TO TRUMP'S BRAIN I joked, "Let's see if we can make it through the weekend."

Since I wrote that:
1. North Korea has fired a missile at Japan, prompting the Pentagon to look at military options;
2. the US Navy has fired flares at an Iranian Navy patrol boat;
3. Trump now has a retired Marine General as his Chief of Staff.

Let's see if we can make it through Saturday.
