And when he was arrested there were immediate claims and reports that he had been attacked by rabid Muslims in prison and that he may actually be dead. But it turns out that Robinson is absolutely fine and unharmed, just confused and angry about his trial, which sounds like it was a dodgy trial, but I don't know what the procedure would be for someone in Robinson's position violating the terms of a suspended sentence. The text of the sentence does suggest that he would go straight to prison. The precise wording is:
...and you will find yourself inside.
So did Robinson deliberately provoke the arrest and then his followers quickly make claims that he'd been attacked and may even be dead?
If so, why?
Or, y'know, you're excusing serial law-breakers like Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, contravening the stipulations in his suspended sentence from last year, which he happily accepted #TommyRobinson https://t.co/NqML8F2Qsw pic.twitter.com/zX71A6YNoZ
