DEATH, TAXES AND GOVERNMENT LIES

There are only three things guaranteed in life; death, taxes and government lies.

For instance, this media operation over the protest in Luton. It stinks. By law the Police have a duty to consider the impact of any protest, including violent reaction. They must also take into account what the protest itself is to say so it does not provoke violent reaction or is libelous etc. I wake up this morning to find on GMTV that 93% of respondents to a survey want to ban protests at military homecomings. I would not be surprised to find that a majority of those people still believe it is legal to protest outside Parliament. In the papers some interviewees or those who have written in make that suggestion; go protest outside Parliament, not at the soldiers.

BUT YOU CAN'T PROTEST OUTSIDE PARLIAMENT!

A few years ago you could...but not now.

And now these very same people are wanting to ban protests at homecomings.

I'm beginning to think that the protest was allowed and given permission to say whatever they liked in order to provoke a violent reaction so that further such protests are banned, possibly other protests, because that is what the media was asking yesterday; do we have the right to free speech and protest?

Another reason is to take the heat off the bankers.

If we ban protest at military homecomings what does that mean? It means that we cannot show the soldiers that when they go to war based on government lies then we cannot tell them when they come home that they went to war based on government lies.

They cannot be accused as baby-killers and rapists unless there is indisputable evidence, and I do not believe that such evidence exists for The Poachers who paraded in Luton. So the protestors are wrong in that case. But the government/terrorist allegation is perfectly valid and can be verified without any trouble at all.

But what is not being asked is, what were we doing in Iraq in the first place?

Because our government told us lies...and they knew it!

Blair's got his blood money.

Brown will get his.
