At least 40,000 civilians are dead in Gaza, with several times that wounded.
There is now very little housing, medical infrastructure, water infrastructure, transport infratstructure, power infrastructure in Gaza.
Why is that a "victory"?
It didn't need to happen.
Hamas didn't need to kidnap Israeli hostages on 7th October 2023.
But Hamas did.
And then they hid down tunnels while the civilians of Gaza were bombed to death, or their houses were bombed. And then the areas Israel said were "safe zones" were bombed and burned. Tens of thousands of women and children were murdered while Hamas hid safely in tunnels.
Why is that a "victory" for Hamas (which was created and financed by Israel)?
