WHAT IS THE SMALLEST THING TO HAVE BEEN PHOTOGRAPHED?

Apparently it's an ion of the element Ytterbium with a diameter of 400 picometres, or 0.4 millionths of a millimetre.

In contrast, the Sars-Cov2 virus is approximately 100 nanometres.

1 picometre = 0.001 nanometre.
