This video does not go into how the British engineered and kicked off WW1 (because the USA, France and Germany were collaborating to create a rival economic pact), but it does explain that the British Empire was crumbling and desperate. By mid-1916 Germany was winning: Churchill had allowed The Lusitania to be sunk in an attempt to drag the USA into the war, but failed, and Britain was, well, desperate. The last throw of the dice was the disastrous Somme campaign. Britain, having engineered and kicked off the war, faced defeat. The Zionists then took their chance and persuaded the British that they could get the USA into the war on the side of the British, but in return the Zionists wanted Palestine. Hence The Balfour Declaration.
