The fallen gave their lives and limbs believig that they were doing their duty for king and country, for a better world. We should remember them. They were placed in a position and had very little chance of understanding their true situation. But it's fifferent now, today, with so much information available.
What we should not do is glorify war.
Like most people out there in Europe I had a grandfather who fought and was injured & disabled in WW1, however when I see anyone wear a red poppy I see a brainwashed person. WW1 was a con.
