Roger Stone is on record stating that his heroes are Roy Cohn (the consiglieri for the New York Mafia, who covered up the murder of three boys, and who also procured children for a CIA satanic cult), King Edward VIII (who was a Nazi sympathiser, so much so that he was banished to the Caribbean during WW2 for fear that he may obtain British secrets and pass them on to the Nazis), and one Richard Nixon.
Now, Stone loves Nixon that much he has a tatoo of Nixon on his back.
But what did Nixon do?
Nixon brought us Augusto Pinochet. Pinochet came to power in a coup in Chile, which the CIA at first denied being involved in. However, knowing what we know in 2016, it turns the CIA ran the coup!!! The man who was overthrown was Salvador Allende, who had decided, like Mossadegh in Iran, to use national resources for the benefit of the people rather than for the benefit of the US corporations. Under Allende the lifestyle of the ordinary Chilean rose significantly. But Nixon, advised by Kissinger, disagreed with Allende. So they ousted Allende in favour of Pinochet. Pinochet ran a military dictatorship which involved the unlawful detention, torture and in some cases murder of anti-fascist protestors.
And Nixon also brought us Pol Pot. Pot was just an obscure Communist with very little following until Nixon decided to bomb the shit out of Cambodia. This bombing led to many Cambodians joining Pol Pot, who with this new support ousted the Cambodian government in a coup, leading to the deaths of millions of Cambodians in a Communist-inspired death cult.
Dodgy Roger Stone supported all this.
But Stone has also been influential himself since then.
For it was Stone who:
1. enabled the PNAC wars by organising a riot in Florida (which is funny now that Infowhores rant about riots at Trump rallys), which stopped a recount, which gave Florida to George W Bush, and in the White House W was surrounded by bloodthirsty PNACers ready to pounce when their "new Pearl Harbor" occured;
2. scuttled the investigation into Wall Street by Eliot Spitzer, which allowed Wall Street to continue their fraudulent corrupt practices, which led to the financial crisis of 2007/8, and us now and still suffering austerity.
So thank regular Infowhores guest Roger Stone for the wars and the austerity we are all suffering.
But my question of the day is this:
I have just watched Oliver Stone's classic film JFK (for about the 50th time), the film that got me started on all this, and during the trial of Clay Shaw, it is asked why Nixon didn't release everything that the CIA and FBI knew about Lee Harvey Oswald.
So: why didn't Dodgy Roger Stone's hero Nixon force the CIA and FBI to release everything that the the CIA and FBI knew about Lee Harvey Oswald, when it was Stone's other hero, Roy Cohn who sat on the board of Permindex which is implicated in the assassination of JFK?
