“We can do all we can as the moral humanitarian nation taking people, spending money on aid and helping in refugee camps. But we have to be part of the international alliance that says we need an approach in Syria which will mean we have a government that can look after its people. Assad has to go, Isil has to go. Some of that will require not just spending money, not just aid, not just diplomacy but it will on occasion require hard military force.”
We usually call it war.
A few years ago war was rebranded as "kinetic military action".
Now Dave calls it "hard military force".
And look at how he describes the goal: "Assad has to go, Isil has to go."
Really?
Assad and Isil, as if they were joined at the hip.
The reality, Dave, is that we unleashed the worst international cutthroat Jihadis onto Syria hoping they would do what they did in Libya (which they with our support, military, political and logistical). But that failed. So Prince Bandar ran a false flag in August 2013 in order to provoke all out war on Syria. But that failed. So we allowed Islamic State to rise while at the same encouraging and allowing British Jihadis to join Islamic State. Why? So that you now have someone to bomb. You couldn't bomb the FSA and their allies, because we've been overtly supporting and financing them.
But Islamic State?
Few will really complain if you bomb Islamic State. And if Assad gets ousted or killed along the way, then so what, eh?
He's been holding up the war plan for 4 years.
