THE CHUMP AND THE DISGUSTING CONFEDERACY

I cannot find any comments by the Chump on the Confederacy itself but he shows signs of supporting the Confederate flag being flown, and receives lots of support from pro-Confederacy groups.

On 23rd June 2015 The Chump said this about the Confederate flag:

Newly-minted presidential candidate Donald Trump joined his fellow Republican contenders Tuesday in calling for the South Carolina legislature to remove the Confederate flag from the statehouse grounds.

"I think they should put it in the museum and let it go," Trump said of the flag during an appearance at his new golf course in the Washington, D.C. suburbs. "Respect whatever it is you have to respect, because it was a point in time, and put it in a museum. But I would take it down. Yes."

This apparently shows some sympathy towards the effect that the Confederate flag was having.

But does this mean he is opposed to the Confederate flag?

Contradicting himself, and arguably expressing no remorse for the Confederacy, the Chump said this on his twitter:

"Only An Idiot Opposes The Confederate Flag"

A news report on this curious tweet reads:
Real Estate Tycoon and business man, Donald Trump, announced via Twitter that he supported the Confederate Flag. “Only an idiot opposes the Confederate Flag” read Trump’s tweet. Trump continued to rant stating that the flag is apart of everyone’s heritage and should fly on every government building in the south. “Schools, churches, post offices should all be allowed to proudly fly the Confederate Flag. There’s nothing racist about it. Black people are acting as if its a KFC flag” says Trump. The Confederate Flag has been the center of debate following the racially-motivated church shhoting masacre in South Carolina. It has been proposed to make flying the Confederate flag illegal at state and federal buildings.

“Schools, churches, post offices should all be allowed to proudly fly the Confederate Flag. There’s nothing racist about it. Black people are acting as if its a KFC flag”?!

Hmm.

O. K....

But who are some of Trump's supporters?

In a survey of Republican voters in South Carolina (which Trump won), supporters of the Chump overwhelmingly wished that the Confederacy had won the US Civil War. For all the other candidates their supporters overwhelmingly were glad that the Union had won. (source : Trump Supporters in South Carolina Wish the Confederacy Had Won)

Again in South Carolina, a pro-Confederate group rallied to support the Chump. The reporter interviewed one attendee who stated that if all that Trump does in 4 years as POTUS is to close the US-Mexico border then he would be happy (source : Pro-Confederate group endorses Donald Trump in S.C.).

And in Iowa:
The American National Super PAC, founded by the leader of the American Freedom Party, said it has paid for “hundreds of thousands” of robocalls boosting Mr. Trump to Iowa voters ahead of the state’s Feb. 1 caucuses. The automated phone call campaign began last week.

...“I urge you to vote for Donald Trump because he is the one candidate who points out that we should accept immigrants who are good for America. We don’t need Muslims. We need smart, well-educated white people who will assimilate to our culture. Vote Trump,” Jared Taylor, a Yale graduate once hailed as the “cosmopolitan face of white supremacy” by the Southern Poverty Law Center, says in the call.

Mr. Taylor, who writes for the website American Renaissance, has been enthusiastic about Mr. Trump, calling him “easily the best presidential candidate on border security and immigration since Pat Buchanan.”

And white nationalists are rallying to the call, with Southern neo-Confederates and old-school white supremacists who typically shun Republican candidates as too weak hailing Mr. Trump as the figure they have long awaited.

So it should be no surprise really when the KKK march in support of the Chump!!

The South will rise again.

That Lost Cause has been found...and its name is The Chump!
