He financed the fledgling Neoconservatives in the mid-1990s which led to PNAC and 9/11. And after 9/11 Murdoch was one of the main drivers for several wars on nations who played no part in 9/11.
And Murdoch was instrumental in Brexit. He was one of the first to see the potential of Nigel Farage, and the two met several times in secret before the referendum in June 2016. Murdoch's media empire vociferously argued for Brexit, even going so far as to claim that Queen Elizabeth II supported Brexit. Note that Murdoch is still alive, while Dr David Kelly was 'suicided'. Shortly after the referendum both Murdoch and Farage were photographed together at a garden party laughing and celebrating their Brexit victory.
