SURPRISE! FACEBOOK KILLED LEE RIGBY

I watched the press conference by the Intelligence and Security Committee yesterday when they presented their findings from their investigation into the murder of Lee Rigby. Several MPs alluded to the timing of the recently proposed legislation for ISPs to keep a record of who visited what sites, hinting that it was perhaps more than coincidence that that legislation is being proposed at the same time that this ISC report is published.

So is it any surprise that today the media is accusing Facebook for the murder of Lee Rigby?

Ignore the facts that MI5 were harassing Adebalajo to the edge of reason while at the same time allowing him to preach Jihad on the streets of London (to provide fresh meat for the Jihad against Assad) and that he was contemplating going to Syria himself.

Ignore the fact that we have been a base for Islamic terrorism for decades through a Covenant of Security, tolerating extremism in mosques and on the streets of the UK.

None of that is in the report.

Instead MI5 get their wrists slapped like naughty boys while Facebook, i.e. an internet site, gets the blame thus providing support for the new proposed legislation.
