Alex Jones is the public face of Infowars. His family are very powerful in Texas. They founded The Republic of Texas 1836, and fought at the rank of colonel and general in the Confederate Army in the U S Civil War.
Alex has several times claimed that that civil war was not about slavery, but was instead about a tariff. Several guests on Infowars have claimed the same and Alex agreed with them.
Alex has since admitted that Infowars is a propaganda asset of U S Military Intelligence (who were AWOL on 9/11).
In 2016 (due to Roger Stone who enabled 9/11 and the financial crisis of 2007/8), to help get decadent weirdo Trump elected, Infowars stopped claiming that 9/11 was done by the New World Order and began to claim that 9/11 was done by actual real life muslims. And that everything bad was not due to this NWO but was actually due to muslims, leftists and immigrants.
So has Confederate Alex Jones (who according to his ex-wife Kelly bragged that his ancestor founded the Texas branch of the Ku Klux Klan) actually read the Texas Ordinance of Secession of 2nd February 1861?
I seriously doubt it.
Because there is no, absolutely zero, nil points, mention of a tariff.
But there is lots and lots of mentions to slavery, and how slavery is the natural position for negros,that the northern states had been coming south and rescuing slaves and killing slaveholders, etc.
And yet white Texans complained about this claiming they had the moral high ground!!

And Dez continues to work for Infowars, happy in the knowledge that Alex Jones praises Trump's hero and mentor Roy Cohn (who supplied children to be abused by CIA-sponsored satanists) as "a great man".
