His beloved hero Andrew Jackson was: a traitor for the British against the United States: a slaver who owned 300 slaves and organised a raid to return runaway slaves; and Godfather of the Confederacy. Alex claims the U S Civil War was about a tariff when the British used Jackson to divide the USA over slavery.
And if Alex is so, so, so wrong on his hero then what else has Alex got wrong?
