Belgium has stated that at least two of the terrorists were French nationals (not immigrants) who lived in Belgium in estates known for producing Jihadis. Seven other suspects have been arrested.
France has named a third terrorist, and he too was a French national, but of North African descent. Three brothers, all French nationals, were also involved.
At the moment the only fact linking the Paris terror to the immigrant crisis of this year is a passport that was somehow found among the carnage. This passport has been declared a fake and produced in Turkey. There is no record of its use in France. It is therefore possible that the owner of the passport was killed for the passport in another nation, the passport smuggled into France and then dropped/found at the scene to connect Syria to the attack.
But at the moment it looks like the plotters were French nationals operating out of Brussels (right under the noses of NATO) but of North African descent. The only way that this could be described as an immigrant attack is if the holder of the (fake) Syrian passport was the ringleader.
Hopefully the Belgians will extract confessions.
