In the second half the new Greek government did not come back as hoped and expected.
But the contest is over two legs. This was just the first. The second is in 4 to 5 months time.
In the plan submitted to the Eurogroup the new Greek government has reneged on several significant promises and is actually going into even more debt. They have targeted tax dodging as a major source of revenue, but here will be many more job losses as the number and size of government departments is reduced significantly, and privatisations will continue.
Personally, not impressed and could be described as Thatcherism-lite if it wasn't for the tax evasion policy.
If it was me I would told them to stick their Euro up their arses and done a deal with Russia.
But for whatever reason the new Greek government is siding with the nations who are driving the Kiev Nazis!!
A very, very curious state of affairs.
