Where and when was the photo taken in the tweet below?

Tiananmen Square on 5th June 1989 when China massacred upto 10,000 protestors.

Note that the man standing in front of the tanks has been edited out by placing images of Morgan and someone else over him.

So why would Watson post an image of tanks with his head on the invading Tiananmen Square?
